Kudos to the geniuses at Industrial Light and Magic for being able to digitally shave twenty years off of Sharon Stone's grim visage.
Sadly, that may be the only memorable achievement in this wholly unecessary sequel.

Unnecessary indeed. Sharon Stone is just scary now - and not in a good way like she was in the original Basic Instinct.
Also, the new male lead is not that impressive.
There's a trailer running around the Net that features some naughtier footage from the movie....I guess I could post it and save everyone eight bucks...
